About the Artist:
Melinda Blake Jennings, an Arizona Native, loved drawing as a girl.
She studied art at Mesa Communtiy College where she received her associate's
degree. In 1998, she started Wallpaintings by Melinda, which grew into a
full-time business. She spent the next six years painting wall rmurals
for Great Western Homes, businesses, and private individuals. In 2003,
she began her series of large canvas paintings that combined grand, old
houses, lush vegetation and wrought-iron gates. Melinda is married to
Gordon Jennings, and they have five children.
