Artist's Statement:
I love traveling and have been fortunate enough to have done quite a bit of it.
The thing that seems to capture my imagination the most is architecture. I am
particularly drawn to the grand, older homes and buildings where much emphasis
has been placed on design and style and to which aging adds its own particular
textures and patinas. To me, these buildings have a character that is irrestible
and quite transcends the ordinary building materials of stone, brick and stucco.
When I can find such extraordinary buildings, set off by the natural beauty of rich
vegetation, I am completely enthralled and feel compelled to capture the image
and share it with others.
